Prematurely Old

I used to see a therapist who helped me with a few things. One of the things he taught me was that almost all of the symptoms I experience due to MS are symptoms that EVERYONE will experience when they get older.

Waking up with aches and pains, unsteady balance, low energy, needing to sit more frequently, nausea, loss of bladder control, trouble sleeping, brain fog, etc.

He said the biggest difference is that I am experiencing these things when I am still young. A.K.A. my youthfulness has been cut short.

So this is a short but sweet post, but the point is-

Enjoy your youth. Move your body while you still can. Eventually you will feel the things I feel each day and you will wish you had a little more time of having a young body.

  1. If you have to be prematurely old, at least you get to LOOK young! 🙂
